Cooking with Wine!

Join us for a fun night of "Cooking with Wine" with Chef Mark Perlioni and Food Photographer, Angela Persicke, co-authors of the cookbook "Mangiamo" and  "Cooking with Wine" blog. 

Morgan Daniel with Vino Vero will lead us on a wine tasting perfectly matched to the delicious Italian cuisine. Vino Vero has, in my opinion, the best Italian portfolio in the state of Texas which many of you enjoy through my wine selections in the wine bar and in wine club.  

We are kicking off our cooking classes with an Italian favorite . . . Ricotta Gnocchi with Fresh Tomato Sauce!

Learn how to make pillowy authentic Italian gnocchi at home in this interactive cooking class.

During this cooking class with Chef Mark, you will learn the trade secrets to preparing authentic Italian gnocchi at home, including how to add those hallmark ridges to catch the sauce. But not just any sauce. Chef Mark will also teach you how to brew a batch of tomato-herb sauce made with tomatoes hailing from the south of Italy — or really, any canned tomatoes. From start to finish, you'll discover how simple it is to make this classic Italian dish from scratch.

Take part in our 4 course class with wine pairings while enjoying the bites you learn to prepare. Mark will have his famous Ricotta Gnocchi prepared ahead of class so you can take home your pillowy goodness. We will also have recipe cards from each course so you can recreate and perfectly cook Gnocchi at home. We will also have the cookbook, "Mangiamo", signed by the author, for sale the night of the event. 

Tickets are $95++ per person. Wine club members save 15% off bottles, 20% off cases on retail wine out the door from the tasting. Club members can also take advantage of wine by the glass specials during class.
