10 Years in The Woods!

Join us at cellar 24 as we celebrate our 10th Anniversary on January 27th!

It's never just about us when we celebrate so this very special occasion is dedicated to Wheelchairs for Warriors!

It's an honor and a privledge to have grown up a military brat and then come to call The Woodlands, my home. As a 2013 Hometown Hero, I pledged I would keep up the tradition of giving back to our community and this event won't fall short of that promise. 

We have quite the evening planned for you so save the date for an event to remember. 

My very dear friend, Grammy nominated singer/songwriter, Shane Stevens, is flying in from Nashville to perform for our event. In addition, the lovely & talented, Madeline Fitzpatrick, will be opening up for Shane. Maddy has the voice of an angel and I couldn't be more excited to have her perform at cellar 24!  Maddy lives in The Woodlands, loves playing basketball, singing, playing the piano and hanging out with her friends. 

And as I mentioned, we don't celebrate any occasion without including our wounded and our fallen. Those who gave so much of themselves to protect our freedoms and allow us the opportunity to fulfill our dreams and passions. It's my honor to announce Wheelchairs for Warriors to be the recipient of our 10-year anniversary celebration. We will have several veterans with us on the 27th, a few of whom have received a wheelchair due to the many contributions from caring people such as yourselves. It is my hope that we can contribute the funds necessary to give 2, maybe 3, more Warriors their freedom back by way of a custom-built wheelchair. These brave men and women served our country with all they had and came home with less . . . for us. We can give a few more Warriors the ability to move about more freely with a custom-built wheelchair and you will hear how that gift has so greatly impacted a few of our special guests. Freedom isn't FREE!

SHANE STEVENS (singer/songwriter/vocal producer/artist development)

Shane Stevens is a Grammy and ACM nominated singer/songwriter who has  written for a variety of country and pop acts, including Walker Hayes, Carrie  Underwood, Lady A, Sara Evans, Kellie Pickler, Ronnie Milsap, Jo Dee Messina,  Jordin Sparks, Fifth Harmony, Little Mix, Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande and  Meghan Trainor.

Born in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, he grew up in a house filled with country, pop,  R&B, Christian, and beach music. In 1996, he moved to Nashville with his best friend  and co-writer Karyn Rochelle to fulfill his dream of becoming a professional songwriter.

He achieved his first Billboard #1 on the Hot Country Songs chart in 2010 with  “American Honey,” performed by Lady A and co-written with Hillary Lindsey and Cary  Barlowe.

After achieving much success in writing country music, Shane wanted to broaden his  songwriting horizon and moved to Los Angeles in 2014 to pursue a new direction as a  writer, vocal producer, and artist developer in the pop and R&B world.

While in Los Angeles, Shane has contributed songs to several pop artists, such as “Super  Bad”, “Goodie Bag” by Jesse McCartney, “Everlasting Love” by Fifth Harmony, “Paper  Doll” by Bea Miller, “Paradise” by Little Boots, “Step On Up” by Ariana Grande, “Love  Me or Leave Me” by Little Mix, “Woman Up” by Meghan Trainor, “Nobody” by Selena  Gomez, and “I’ll Chase The Sky”, “No Better Feelin’” and “Neighsayer” on the 2017 My

Little Pony soundtrack.

Shane’s most recent accolades include selling a Country music musical movie to  Paramount Pictures in 2019 where Shane was responsible for writing all original  compositions associated with the musical alongside childhood friend Karyn Rochelle and  co-writing the biggest song of 2021 titled "Fancy Like" by Walker Hayes. Currently,  Shane spends the majority of his time where it all started, Nashville, TN. Shane primary  focus is writing for country, pop and christian music while developing talent in all genres.

This summer Shane began filming his tv show entitled Shane On You, which is a reality and design based series that will follow his day to day life in the music industry as well as in design as he rehabs homes in and around his hometown of Calabash, NC.

Shane has also begun recording his first ever country album, slated for release in early 2024. He has penned every song on the album and is co-producing the project with Grammy award winning producer, Ted T, in Nashville, TN.

Chef, Mark Perlioni and Angela Persicke will dazzle us with their culinary expertise on the reception and dinner buffet. They've outdone themselves on many of our cooking classes and other special events so you are in for quite a culinary treat.
